Introducing Director of Operations, Jack Halligan

We’re excited to welcome our newest team member, Director of Operations, Jack Halligan. Please join us in welcoming Jack and learning a bit more about his background. We’re confident that Jack will help further the great progress and growth of DC Norris North America.

Jack grew up where our headquarters is located (Traverse City, Michigan) and is a graduate of Traverse City Central High School. He attended Ferris State University, receiving a Bachelors Degree in Product Design Engineering Technology. Jack also earned his MBA in Business from Lawrence Tech.

Jack’s career is marked with diversity and depth. He spent nine years as a vocational teacher at Traverse Bay Area Intermediate School District (TBAISD). During his time as a vocational teacher, he also worked for the Carpenter/Hillsdale plant in Traverse City. His time there was spent designing jig and fixtures, performing quality assurance, and fulfilling a project management role. Halligan left TBAISD and took a full-time job at ITW Workholding/Forkardt in Traverse City where he spent the next 15 years of his career. In his time at ITW Workholding/Forkhardt, Jack worked in process engineering, manufacturing engineering, and segment management. In his last decade at Workholding/Forkhardt, he managed the internal and external repair warranty segment of the business.

Jack told us he is looking forward to a new challenge in a new industry while continuing to be able to live in beautiful Northern Michigan.
