DC Norris Celebrates the Start of Construction at the National Centre of Excellence for Food Engineering
On October 16, 2018 the DC Norris team can be found alongside the staff of Sheffield Hallam University breaking ground for the University’s new National Centre of Excellence for Food Engineering (NCEFE). The October 16th event marks the start of construction on the NCEFE, a facility designed to progressively tackle food industry challenges such as productivity, efficiency, and waste reduction. Through the NCEFE, Sheffield Hallam University in conjunction with its faculty and students will support the food and drink industry by developing new and enhanced food production facilities, processes, and equipment. The Centre will cultivate a knowledgeable workforce with real experience leading food engineering systems and processes. DC Norris is honored to be present at this ground breaking event.
DC Norris Joins Esteemed Partners on Food Engineering Centre of Excellence Industry Advisory Board
In addition to the ground breaking ceremonies for the NCEFE, DC Norris is proud to have been invited to join the Food Engineering Centre of Excellence Industry Advisory Board. DC Norris joins an esteemed Board of industry leaders that include Premier Foods, Greencore, and Siemens as well as the Sheffield Hallam team. Together, the Advisory Board will help guide the layout of the process areas and the relevant equipment for this revolutionary new facility.
