Press Release: New Office with More Room to Grow

DC NORRIS NORTH AMERICA MOVES INTO NEW NORTH AMERICAN HEADQUARTERS IN TRAVERSE CITY, MICHIGAN WITH PLANS FOR GROWTH

Traverse City, MI based industrial food processing equipment provider relocates its headquarters to a new facility to allow for planned future growth

With a focus on the future, DC Norris North America is proud to announce a move into a new office and warehouse space that will better accommodate planned future growth. DC Norris North America is the North American extension of UK-based DC Norris, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of industrial food processing machinery ranging from its patented Jet Cook™ and Jet Processing System to industrial cooking kettles. The company opened North American operations in 2015 and has experienced continued growth since, outfitting industrial food manufacturers like Sandridge Foods with efficient, innovative food processing systems.

In April, DC Norris North America announced its new line of lifting and discharging equipment and rolled out a new website. Now, just six months later, they’re moving operations into a 7500 square foot headquarters in Traverse City, Michigan.

Dick Smith, President of DC Norris North America, relocated from the company’s UK headquarters to Traverse City to head North American operations for the company in May 2015. About the growth and new office he remarked,

“Calling Traverse City home has been an extraordinary experience, but seeing the vision that we (David Peterson, David Norris and I) discussed less than five years ago around a restaurant table in Bedfordshire come to fruition is even more remarkable. DC Norris North America has been met with such willing, welcoming, experienced help here and we’re so grateful for the partnerships we’ve forged with businesses like Plascon. We’re feeling very grateful for the opportunity to be here helping North American food producers deliver premium foods to customers quite literally around the globe. I will never tire of being part of that process.”

Since opening in 2015, DC Norris North America has experienced significant year on year growth and anticipates that to increase as the taste and demands of consumers across North America shift toward healthy, ready-to-eat, food options. This shifting consumer taste is a niche that DC Norris machinery is uniquely suited to as the manufacturer pioneered the cook chill concept throughout Europe (the fastest growing ready-meal market in the world) and the system has become the industry standard for food companies around the globe.

DC Norris North America is now located at 1564 Northern Star Drive, Traverse City, Michigan 49696.
